Makinde Charge New OYSIEC Members On Free, Fair Election

The Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, swore-in board of Oyo State Independent  Electoral Commission to conduct Local Government elections across the state.
The swear-in event which was held at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan had in attendance top government officials.
While swearing-in the newly appointed  OYSIEC commission, Makinde gave an assurance that the state electoral board would perform their duty without fear or favor and in an unbiased way.
Makinde, however, charged the commission to make sure the will of the people remains sacrosanct and to also conduct an all-inclusive election without fear or favor.
He also urged the commission to imbibe the sense of urgency and conduct credible local government elections in the  State within the shortest possible time.
However, the Chairman of the commission Barrister Olagunju Isiaka, in a personal interview with the NewsRain assured the good people of Oyo State that the board would conduct a transparent, credible, and acceptable election.
