IPOB has ordered a sit-at-home protest on October 1st.
News Rain Reports that the group known as the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), has ordered a statement – at – home protest over what it termed to be a forceful coexistence in Nigeria.

IPOB also declared it’s supported for some Yoruba Elders that are calling for the Oduduwa Republic.
The group in a statement that was signed to the effect by its media and publicity Secretary Emma Powerful warned its members to avoid public gatherings as not to provide an avenue for Nigeria security forces to launch target in them.
“Everywhere in Biafraland must be under lock for Nigeria and the world to know that we are all united in our march toward total freedom. There should be no public events or ceremonies in Biafraland to avoid any needless loss of lives”.

The group through the statement warned its member that they should not risk the life and well-being of your children by allowing them to gather in groups in the open where terrorists may find it easier to blow them up or kidnap them.
“There is credible intelligence that terrorist groups are planning to slaughter our children should they venture out to celebrate or march on October 1st”.
The statement said that the sit-at-home order was to highlight their position and resolve as Biafrans that they are no longer interested in propping up a crumbling terrorist state.
IPOB according to the statement said that the group will “where permissible in the diaspora, join our Yoruba brethren agitating for the Oduduwa Republic, in public protests to mark the October 1, 2020”.

The statement enjoined “all Biafrans and every conscious Nigerian, especially those ethnic nationalities reeling from the triple blow of state-sponsored terrorism, bad governance and economic annihilation, to boycott every government organised ceremony designed to eulogise the failure that Nigeria has become.
“This is the time to let the world know how disastrously intolerable human existence is in Nigeria today”, it said.
