2021 Budget: President Buhari Sets To Present Budget On Thursday

President Buhari will finally present the 2021 budget on Thursday.
New Rain Nigeria reports that President Muhammadu Buhari will on Thursday present 2021 budget to both chambers of the National Assembly at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
The development was revealed on Tuesday through the Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan, during the Senate plenary.

Senator Ahmed Lawan at the floor of the House read the letter from the executive which conveyed the message to the whole house members.
The content of the letter stated as thus: “May I crave the kind indulgence of the Distinguished Senate to grant me the slot of 11:00hrs on Thursday, 8th October 2020, to formally present the 2021 Appropriation bill to the Joint Session of the National Assembly.
“While I look forward to addressing the Joint session, please, accept Mr. Senate President, the assurances of my highest regard.”
Recall that this is coming about a week after the House of Representatives approved the Medium Term Expenditure (MTEF), the Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP) and put the total proposed 2021 expenditure at N13.08 trillion
