Yul Edochie has revealed his intention of becoming Nigerian President
News Rain Nigeria gathered that popular actor and politician said he will become the next president if youths support him like BBNaija housemates.
The Nollywood actor hinted his interest in running for President while reacting to a tweet in which a follower advised him to contest the presidential seat for being outspoken.
Yul according to the tweet stated that if he is supported the way youths support BBNaija housemates, he will surely become Nigeria’s next president.
Yul said he will unite the country and appoint credible people for public offices if elected.
He tweeted: “If Nigerian youths will realize the power they have & support me the way they support BBNaija housemates, I’ll surely become Nigeria’s next President & best President ever. I’ll unite this country & appoint credible men & women to work with irrespective of tribe or religion.”
It will be recalled that on July 14, 2017, Yul Edochie declared his intention to run for the governorship seat in Anambra State.
This declaration was reportedly made in anticipation of a Not Too Young To Run Bill passed by the Nigerian Senate.
The declaration was thereafter made official on August 22, 2017, when he picked up the nomination form of the Democratic Peoples Congress and was eventually the flag bearer of the party in Anambra State.
Yul Joined Nollywood in 2005 in his first film titled “The Exquires” alongside the Late Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa. He got his break in 2007 after featuring alongside Genevieve Nnaji and Desmond Elliot in the movie “Wind Of Glory.”
