Mrs. Betty Akeredolu has debunked rumours of attack.
New Rain Nigeria reports that Ondo State First Lady has on Saturday debunked reports of been attacked and injured at the ongoing gubernatorial election in the State.

Recall that Mrs. Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu has allegedly been reported to have been attacked and injured in Owo Town earlier today, 10th, October 2020, while  attempting to disrupt the election process of the area with the support of the security details to her husband Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and some personnel of some southwest Security Outfit, code name Amotekun.
Though the circulated video has been dispelled by Channel Television where the viral Video has managed to emanate from.
Mrs.Akeredolu while speaking on the development noted she was not attacked and not injured.
She also noted that it’s the work of some politicians through their desperation to distracted people stressed that such an act will not soil her name and as well as her reputations.
 She said, “I am happy you asked this question for the world to see what detractors are trying to do is to damage the exercise, within few minutes I have been receiving calls and text messages”
Mrs. Betty described the dispelled video as a ‘doctored’ video that was released by haters who are bent on misinforming the public, especially during the electioneering period.
The purported video was labeled with: “Akeredolu’s wife injured, three killed as Governor’s details invade polling unit”
