Four persons have been confirmed dead in Obalende building collapse.
News Rain Nigeria reports that not less than four people have been confirmed dead in the recent Lagos building collapse.

The collapsed building was situated in  Odo Street of Obalende, in Eti – Osa part of Lagos was said to be under construction, when on Sunday suddenly lost some portion to self – collapse.
The collapsed building, according to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) said to have consumed the lives of three males and a female, while some people were also trapped under its rubbles.
The LASEMA operatives who were on ground to rescue the victims of the sad incident, were busy as they were unable to talk to the pressmen, while one of the superior Officers who finally talked do so on the condition of anonymous.
 
He Said, the attention of the LASEMA was brought to the collapsed building on Sunday afternoon and we responded with emergency and we have activated our plans towards rescued the victims who were trapped under the building.
He stated further that the operatives have managed to evacuate three males and a female but all of them have been confirmed dead.
 
He confirmed that the collapsed building was under construction, and that part of it just suddenly collapse.
 
” Though we cannot as now ascertain the cause of its collapse efforts are presently ongoing by our operatives and other responders towards salvaging the situation.
He said as now, at 17:40hrs, a total of eight people (all males) have been extricated alive by our team and other Stakeholders, and those evacuated victims have been taken to Lagos Island General Hospital for further proper medical attention.
