Kano State Govt. has announced resumptions dates for its tertiary institutions. News Rain Nigeria reports that the Kano State Government has announced the resumption dates for all the State-owned tertiary institutions.
Kano Tertiary Institutions Resumes October 26
Kano State Government has however confirmed that all its tertiary institutions should resume on 26th, of October 2020.
The development which was made known through a press briefing by the State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure, in her office stated that the State Government is ready for all the State-owned tertiary institutions.
Dr. Mariya, at the press briefing, noted that the government has already provided all safety kits that include hands sanitizer, facemasks among others to curtail the spread of COVID-19. She also commended the efforts of the Heads of Tertiary Institutions in their effort to actualize the government’s desire.
Dr. Mariya stressed that the state-owned tertiary institutions like, Kano State University of Science and Technology, Wudil, Yusuf Maitama University, Kano, Kano State Polytechnic, School of Nursing, Kano, and Dambatta, School of Hygiene, and College of Advanced Studies, Kano have been ordered to resume on the government-approved date, which is 26th, of October 2020.
