Oyo State deputy governor, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan said has revealed how police extorted money from him.

News Rain Nigeria reports that the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan said that the entire Police Force system needs total reformations.

Engr. Rauf, while speaking with journalists in Agodi Secretariat Ibadan, on Friday, said he was a victim of police brutality on two different occasions in Lagos.
The Deputy Governor added that he needed to obey them on those occasions, noting that he was forced to give them over a hundred thousand naira on one of those occasions as he was rushing to meet up with his already scheduled flight.
He said,  “I was forced to give them all that they demanded from me, I gave them cash that is more than a hundred thousand naira, just for them to free me, as I was running late to catch up with my flight.
“The second occasion, they saw me as an old man and still went ahead by questioning me with various silly questions, I was like at my age do I look like a Yahoo boy, but the funniest part of the whole story was that those Police were not even SARS, and that is why I said those the entire Police Force need to be reform.
“The whole occasions up till now still baffles me anytime I think about those encounters, I use to feel for the common Nigerians, the two occasions happened at the present of my driver, he can bear me witness on what I’m saying. Engr. Rauf Said.
