Police Command Appoints New Deputy PPRO

News Rain Nigeria reports that Oyo State Police has announced ASP. Oduniyi  Omotola as the new Deputy Police Public Relations Officer for the Command.

According to the Press Release that was issued to the effect by the State Police Public Relation Officer, SP. Olugbenga Fadeyi, which a copy was made available to the News Rain Nigeria Correspondent in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital noted that the Command under the leadership of Commissioner of Police, CP. Joe Nwachukwu Enwonwu confirmed the appointment of the ASP. Oduniyi Omotola as the new Deputy Police image-maker for the State.

Parts of the statement stated as follows; ”The newly appointed Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Oduniyi Omotayo hails from Oke-Igbo in Ondo State”.

He enlisted into Nigeria Police Force on 24th December 2013. He is a member of the Regular course one at the prestigious Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State where he bagged B.Sc Computer Science.

The statement also confirmed that ASP. Oduniyi Omotola was commissioned and passed out on the 22nd of December, 2018.

He was transferred to Oyo State Command on 18th of January, 2019 where he started his Police career and has since served in various Divisions and capacities such as Agugu Division as an officer on attachment, Agodi Division as the Patrol and Guard Officer from where he was redeployed to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Iyaganku Ibadan and served as the team head of the Anti-cybercrime unit where he was until his present appointment as the Deputy Police Public Relations Officer of the Oyo State Police Command.
