Buhari Holds Emergency Meeting With Former Leaders

Buhari is currently having an emergency meeting with former leaders and security chiefs at Aso Villa.

News Rain Nigeria gathered that President Muhammadu Buhari is currently having a virtual meeting with former Nigerian leaders over the prevailing situation in the country.

The virtual meeting was said to have started at 09:00 am and is being presided over by President Buhari from the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja through virtual means.

Buhari Holds Emergency Meeting With Former Leaders

The Ex-Presidents participating at the virtual meeting are Generals Yakubu Gowon, Olusegun Obasanjo, Abdulsalami Abubakar (Rtd), Goodluck Jonathan, and Earnest Shoneken.

News Rain Nigeria also gathered that those physically present at the Council Chambers for the meeting are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari as well as the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno.

The meeting also had in attendance, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olanisakin, Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, Director General, Department of State Services, Yusuf Bichi, and Director-General, National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Rufai.
