Governor Makinde has approved 1,500 job employment for youths.
News Rain Nigeria reports that the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on Monday during the stakeholders meeting has given approval for immediate recruitment and training of 1500  personnel for the smooth take-off of the state security outfit codenamed Amotekun.
The Governor stated this during a stakeholder meeting with Oyo Artisans, Okada, Micra Operators, and EndSARS Representatives

In the aftermath of the EndSARS protest, Governor Seyi Makinde Continues with his Meeting with relevant stakeholders in a bid to strengthen the security system and ensure peace across the state.
Governor Seyi Makinde at the meeting told the Stakeholders that approval has been given for the recruitment of 1,500 personnel to kick start Operation Amotekun in the state.
According to Governor, the 1500 Amotekun personnel will cut across 351 wards in Oyo state while training and passing out of the personnel will come upon 1st and 15th, November respectively.
Governor Makinde who is the Chief Security officer of the state optimistic that Police will soon be back to operation in order to strengthen the security system and prevent any breakdown of law and order.
He stated that a place where there’s no police is an invitation to Anarchy hence the need for people to support the police to perform its constitutional duties diligently.
Also at the stakeholders’ meeting, the Speaker Oyo state house of Assembly, Rt. Hon Adebo Ogundoyin in his speech called on Youths and Artisans to make use of the lofty Programmes provided by the Oyo state government to reduce unemployment in the state
Representatives of Artisans and Youth who spoke at the program pour out their minds on some challenges confronting them.
