Breaking: Jos Electricity Distribution Company Headquarters On Fire

News Rain Nigeria reports that the Jos Electricity Distribution Company is currently on fire.

News Rain Nigeria gathered that the fire inferno which started around 6 pm is still on as of the time of filing this report.

According to an eyewitness, who pleaded anonymity, said that the inferno started around 6 pm today, Friday, 13th November 2020, on the top floor of a seven-story building of the Jos Electricity Distribution Company Headquarters that is located along Ahmadu Bello way.

 The eyewitness stressed that all efforts are on top gear to put off the inferno, as men of the Plateau fire service were on ground to put an end to the inferno, by putting it off.

While confirming the incident, the Head, Corporate Corporate Communication of the Jos Electricity Distribution Company, Adakole Elijah, who spoke to the newsmen through a phone call, said the situation is under control.

Elijah said, “it is a fire incident that and we are trying to control it.

He stressed further that the men of the Plateau fire service have arrived at the scene, and they are here with us working seriously to put off the fire inferno.

The eyewitness said, the causes of the fire inferno is not known yet, he maintained that it might occur due to the spark of each live cables.

He also confirmed that no life has been lost to the inferno.
