Governor Tambuwal hosted many who is who in Nigeria Social class during his son’s wedding.
News Rain Nigeria reports that the Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal on Saturday hosted many bigwigs of Nigeria and international Politics, business, and corporate stakeholders at the wedding of his Son,  Barrister Najib Aminu Tambuwal.
The son of the Sokoto Governor, Najib Aminu Tambuwal was on Saturday, 14th November 2020 officially got wedded to his heartthrob, formerly Miss Aminat Umar Tafida, the daughter of Senator Umar Tafida of the Tafidan Argungu in what can be described as an elaborate party in Kebbi State.

The wedding was said to have been the recent talk of the town among the attendees who were most Senior Political elites, from both the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), while the President was also represented at the event.
President Muhammadu Buhari who was ably represented at the event by the Ministers of Police Affairs, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi; the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; the Senior Special Assistant, Media, and Publicity, Garba Shehu; and Musa Haro, a Special Assistant in the Presidency makes the party be one of the special wedding events of recent.
While Governors, at the event were; Ekiti state governor and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF), Kayode Fayemi and Nyesom Wike of Rivers state, Bauchi, Enugu, Gombe, Jigawa, Kebbi, Kano, Plateau, Zamfara.
The duo of Taraba and Yobe State Governors were represented by their deputies.
While the National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, former governors of Gombe, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, Jigawa, Alhaji Sule Lamido, and former deputy Speaker of the House of Representative, Emeka Ihedioha were present at the occasion.
President Buhari at the party, through a statement issued by his media Adviser Malam Garba advised the newly wedded couple to commit their relationship to God and treat each other with respect.
He said, “I urge you to be loyal and committed, never to give up on one another,”.
President Buhari, also congratulated the Governor of Sokoto State, Tambuwal, on the occasion and wished him a happy and successful event.
The Ulama and the clergymen that were at the event are the National President of the Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’a Wa Ikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau, and Bishop Matthew Hassan-Kukah of the Sokoto Catholic Diocese.
