Makinde: We Will Run LAUTECH Using Multi-Campus System

Governor Seyi Makinde has assured LAUTECH Students that the institution will soon begin to run on multi campuses bases.

 

News Rain Nigeria reports that the students stormed Governor’s Office, at the Oyo State Secretariat Agodi Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital in peaceful solidarity and thank you protest, expressing their satisfaction over the sole administration of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso, which has been recently ceded to Oyo State Government by the National University Commission (NUC).

 

Makinde: We Will Run LAUTECH Using Multi-Campus System

 

Addressing the students, Governor Makinde stressed that with the sole ownership of Ladoke Akintola University, the institution will in due course has multi campuses across the state.

The Governor noted that Ladoke Akintola University has the opportunity to become the citadel of learning and research.

“With the sole administration of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso, by our dear State,  the State will look into how we are going to craft out multi campuses from the institution for the benefit of our people.

Olabiyi Olamide speaking on behalf of the students commended Governor Makinde for the achievement over the institution.

Olamide however appealed for the reduction of the institution fees so that average students can afford it.
