EndSARS: IPAC Commends, Seeks Support From Oyo NSCDC Ahead LG Poll
IPAC have commend Oyo NSCDC over the proper handling of ENDSARS protests.
News Rain Nigeria reports that the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), has on Wednesday, 25th November 2020 applauded the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State Command for the proper way it handled the EndSARS protest.
IPAC, led by its Chairman, Apostle Dare Ojo during a courtesy visit to the State Command Headquarters of the NSCDC at Agodi Ibadan, the State Capital maintained that the NSCDC is well commended for its professional way applied during the EndSARS protest in Oyo State.

Apostle Dare who was accompanied to the State Headquarters of the Command by representatives of other Political Parties in the State, among whom are Alh.Owolabi Suraj, Chief Abimbola Tewogbade, Mrs. Taiwo Balikisu, Dr. Awopegba Smart, Mr. Samson Ajala, and others, stressed that the State Command of the NSCDC deserves commendations for their unrelentless efforts exercised towards restoring peace and security back in the State.
Ojo in his speech, however, pleaded for maximum security support from the Command Headquarters during the forthcoming Local Government Election in the State.
He said I’m begging and appealing to the State Command personnel, under the able watch of Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya to assist us at the forthcoming Local Government elections in the State so we can have a free, fair, and credible election that is devoid pf crisis before and after the poll.
While responding to the visitors’ remarks and demands, the State Commandant for the Command, CC. Iskilu Akinsanya expressed his pleasure at receiving the visitors but quickly noted that the Command is already in synergy with other sister security agencies in the State just to have a successful and credible local government poll.
Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya however maintained that all hands are on deck, just to make sure that the State has a free, fair, and credible local government poll across the State.
He stressed further that the State NSCDC command, will not compromise its standard in maintaining good governance through an electoral process that is devoid of rigging or any forms of malpractice before, during, and after the poll.
Commandant Akinsanya through a statement that was issued and signed by the State Corps Public Relation Officer, Superintendent of Corps, CD. Oluwole Olusegun, called on the Political Parties, especially those that were represented at the courtesy visit, as well as the eligible voters to have the spirit of sportsmanship before, during, and after the election.
