Just In: How My Kidnapped Wife Was Rescued —Akeredolu’s CoS Breaks Silence
The Chief of Staff to Ondo State Governor, Olugbenga Ale has spoken about how his wife was rescued from the hands of kidnappers.
News Rain Nigeria gathered that Ale, speaking on Saturday said his wife and a friend were released this afternoon after a successful and extensive joint operation mounted by security agencies.
Also released alongside Mrs. Ale was her friend who was a co-occupant of the vehicle hijacked on Thursday night around Owena area, near Akure, the Ondo State capital.

It is reported that security agencies initiated a manhunt for the criminals, following a detailed intelligence gathering spearheaded by the Amotekun Corps which indicated the location and track of the hoodlums.
News Rain Nigeria also gathered that after sessions of hot exchanges of gunfire, the combined operations of joint security agencies were able to overpower the hoodlums and retrieved unhurt, the kidnapped individuals.
Meanwhile, Chief Olugbenga Ale while confirming the good news said “his wife and her friend were rescued unhurt by the highly professional security forces and are currently in excellent condition.”
It will be recalled that last Thursday, gunmen kidnapped the wife of Mr. Olugbenga Ale, the Chief of Staff to Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.
This incidentally happened while the state was mourning the death of the Olufon of Ifon, Oba Israel Adeusi, who was reportedly killed by some gunmen suspected to be kidnappers at Elegbeka area of Ose Local Government Area of the state on Thursday.
Also, two staff members of Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited, a resident on the premises of the steel plant in the Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State was abducted by gunmen.
It was gathered that Mrs. Ale was kidnapped on Thursday night alongside her driver and one other person at Owen area, Idanre, along Ondo-Akure Expressway.
