Congratulations! Asefon Sunday Emerges NANS Global President, Despite Series Of Gunshots

Asefon has emerged as the presidential winner of NANS.

 

News Rain Nigeria reports that Comrade Dayo Asefon, a student of Ekiti State University( EKSU) has emerged as the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).

Dayo Asefon who is one of the presidential candidates of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) was declared a winner in the early hours of Friday, 4th December 2020, after gunshots, and a very tensive election.

News Rain Nigeria gathered that Asefon polled 155 votes against his close opponent, Ladoja, who scored 100 votes, others are; Momodu, 11 votes, Champion scored, 2 votes while Alopay got 7 votes.

The election which witnessed several gunshots moments left the senators voting for their chosen candidates, and as a result of that, Comrade Sunday Asefon finally emerged as the global president.

Asefon Sunday’s victory at the poll has been described as a well-deserved one as he was said to have toured all the 36 states, including FCT twice during the campaign.

Asefon is from Ekiti State and a PGD student of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti.
