Police have arrested two for gang raping a 19-yr-old.
News Rain Nigeria reports that two suspected rapists have been arrested in Ogun State for gang raping a teenager in Ota.
The development according to a statement issued and signed by the State Police Command Public Relation Officer, Mr. Abimbola Oyeyemi, stated that the suspected rapists lives in the same compound with the victim a 19 year old lady.

According to the copy of the statement made available to pressmen in the State on Sunday, it stated that the duo of Emmanuel Okori and Damilare Oyeniyi, aged 20, 30 respectively dragged the young lady into one of their rooms, videoed her nude, took her nude pictures before taking turns to rape the said lady.
The Police scribe through the statement maintained that the victim alleged that the suspects threatened to release the video should the lady inform anybody about the act.
Parts of the statement stated as thus, Men of Ogun State Police Command arrested the duo of Damilare Oyeniyi, 30yrs and Emmanuel Okori, 20yrs who gang raped a 19 yr old girl.
“The suspects were arrested following a report lodged at Sango police station by the victim who reported that the two suspects who are living in the same compound with her dragged her into the room of one of them, stripped her naked, video her nude before taking turns to rape her serially.
“Upon the report, the DPO Sango division CSP Godwin Idehai detailed his detectives to go after the suspects who have taken to flight immediately and bring them to book.
“The investigative effort of the detectives paid off when the duo were eventually arrested.On interrogation, the two suspects confessed committing the crime.
“They confessed videoing her nude with which they used to threaten her not to report or else the video will be posted on social media.”
Oyeyemi said the Commands Commissioner, Edward Awolowo Ajogun has ordered the immediate transfer of suspects to anti human trafficking and child labour unit of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and prosecution.
The public relations through the statement stated that the arrest of the suspects followed a report at the Sango Ota Police station where the Divisional Police Officer, Godwin Idehai detailed his detectives to go after the suspects who had reportedly taken to their heels after committing the crime.
The arrested suspects have however confessed to the crime, according to the statement.
