FAKE NEWS! Tinubu Not Critically Sick With COVID-19- Media Aide Reacts

Tinubu’s media aide has debunked rumours of his Principal being down with Covid-19.

News Rain Nigeria reports that the media assistance Mr. Tunde Rahman, to the National leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has debunked some online reports claiming that his Principal is currently battling with the Covid-19 complications in far away France.

Tinubu Not Critically Sick With COVID-19

Rahman reacting to the development through a press release made available to newsmen in Lagos maintained the Tinubu is out of the country on his annual custom to take time off to reflect on the out-gone year and prepare for the new year.

Rahman through the statement stated that the result of the COVID-19 test conducted on Tinubu before his departure out of the country was negative.

He stressed that the story is inaccurate, noting that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is healthy and does not have COVID-19.

Rahman stated that Asiwaju took his annual trip and as part of the preparation for the trip he took a COVID-19 test which was negative and Since the advent of the pandemic, Asiwaju has always done his best to observe as strictly as humanly possible, all government advice and safety protocols to prevent the spread of the virus and to keep himself and those around him safe from harm”.

The statement maintained that Tinubu, shortly before Christmas, traveled out of Nigeria for his annual holiday.

This is something he does each year to give himself a chance to rest and reflect on past year, while also prepare for the challenges and opportunities of the one to come”.

Rahman stated that there will be no further comment on the fake reports from his office.
