BREAKING: Court Grants Sowore N20 Million Bail
Magistrate court sitting in Abuja, has granted bail to Omoyele Sowore, in the sum of N20 million.
News Rain Nigeria reports that a chief magistrate sitting in Wuse 2 Abuja, has granted bail to the convener of #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore in the sum of N20 million, with two sureties in like sum, one of whom must be a civil servant not below grade level 12.

The court also ordered Mr Sowore to remain in Abuja and must physically report to the court registrar every Monday and Friday pending the hearing and determination of the case against him.
Co-accused of Mr Sowore were also admitted to bail in the sum of N1 million each and 1 surety in like sum.
The matter was adjourned to 5th February for trial.
Recall that Omoyele Sowore and the other defendants are standing trial for alleged criminal conspiracy, unlawful assembly and inciting public disturbance.
The police had arraigned the five persons last Monday on a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy, unlawful assembly, and incitement.
Mabel Segun-Bello, the magistrate, had ordered that they be remanded at the Kuje correctional centre.
But last Tuesday, they were transferred to the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (FCIID) after Sowore reported that they were denied access to their healthcare, food, and water.
