NSCDC Prosecute 58 Year Old Pastor For Defiling 7 Year Old Girl

NSCDC has prosecute 58 year old Pastor for allegedly defiling a minor.

News Rain Nigeria reports that a pastor has been prosecuted for  defiling a young Akinpelu Emmanuella in Ibadan.

The development according to a press statement issued and signed by Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State Command Public Relation Officer, CD Oluwole Olusegun stated that one Mr Francis Abayomi (M) 58yrs Old for allegedly defile one Akinpelu Emmanuella (F) 7 years Old on November 25,2020 at Kutamiti Street off Bashorun Expressway Ibadan.

The State Command of the NSCDC presented the defilement case before the Magistrate in Charge of Family Court 1 Iyaganku Ibadan S .H. Adebisi, who ordered that the suspect should be remanded in NSCDC custody at the State Headquater Agodi Ibadan also adjourned the case till 25 January 2021.

The suspect according to the statement was said to have defiled the victim without her consent, thereby committing an offence contrary to section 34(1) and punishable under Section 34 (2) of the Oyo State Child Right Law 2006.

NSCDC Oyo Command maintained that the command through its Anti Human Trafficking Unit attended to 343 cases in 2020 ranges from Child trafficking, Child abuse,child labour and street children, rape and defilement child in need of Care and protection,physical assault and domestic violence.

The State Commandant of NSCDC, Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya however through the statement frown at issue of rape,defilement,incest and all form of abuse on child and female gender, he also warned members of the public who engage in such act to desist from it or face the full wrath of the law and without compromise.
