Breaking: Zamfara Government Donates 15 Million Naira To The Families Of The Police Killed, Injured At Kurar Mota

The government of Zamfara state has donated 15 million Naira to the families of the personnel of Nigerian police killed in an ambush by bandits last week at Kurar Mota in Bungudu local government area of the state.

 

 

News Rain Nigeria reports that each of the deceased families is to receive one million Naira, while the families of those who suffered injuries during the incident are to be given 2 million Naira.

Already, the government has taken care of their medical bills.

The Gov of the state Hon (Dr) Bello Muhammed Matawallen Maradun said the gesture was part of his government’s earlier promise to assist families of those gallant security personnel who lost their lives in the cause of protecting the lives of other citizens of the state.

Since his assumption in office, Gov Matawalle has been having cordial working relations with the security agencies and his government has been supporting the agencies in discharging their responsibilities.

Recall that the Gov visited the wounded police personnel at the hospital to sympathy with them over the unfortunate incident.

Meanwhile, the Government has commiserated with the Inspector General of Police Lagos state Commissioner of Police and the Squadron Commander 20 Pmf Lagos and prayed for the repose of the souls of the fallen heroes.
