Since the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, His Excellency Bello Matawalle, decamped to the ruling All Progressive Party, APC, he has been getting all things right.
His people can’t stop praising and supporting him for his various moves, most especially in the formation of the newly looked vibrant, young, and youthful members of his executive cabinet.
News Rain Nigeria reports that one of those appointments that many have hailed as a round peg in a round hole is the appointment of the 35-year-old Zamfara State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Honorable Yazeed Shehu Danfulani.
Hon. Yazeed Shehu Dan Fulani (Garkuwan Matasa, Lamidon Tsafe) was born in Gusau on 15th April 1986. He started his Islamic Schooling at Madrasatil Dhariqul Huda (Makarantar Mal. Dan Hajo in Gusau). He then attended Dan Turai Primary School, Gusau (1991-1996), and Therbow Secondary School, Zaria (1996-2005).
The young technocrat attended Informatics Institute Kazaure, Jigawa State where he obtained International Diploma in Computing in the year 2007.
He then moved to the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom in the year 2010 where he bagged a degree in Business Administration (BA. HONS). He later had his Masters degree in Arts and Management Studies at the same University. Hon. Yazeed also obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) in the year 2012 at the International University, Malaysia.
Lamidon Tsafe as he is fondly called did his NYSC at the Ministry of Works and Transport, Kaduna State.
After his NYSC, Garkuwan Matasa worked with so many companies within Zamfara and beyond and has vast experience in Banking Operations, Computing, Business Administration and so many other aspects.
Before his appointment by His Excellency, Governor Dr. Bello Matawalle as a Commissioner of Commerce and Industry, he has been a staff of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) since 2013.
The youngest Commissioner in the gold-rich State, he is the Founder and President of AREWA DEVELOPMENT AND EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION (ADEF).
The foundation which was founded 12 years ago, aims at supporting Orphans and the less privileged in society.
Lamidon Tsafe is married to three wives and blessed with 6 children.
