Chairman Odogbolu LG Hon. Ladejobi Shuaib, Welcomes Students, Teachers To New Academic Session

A message signed by Hon. Ladejobi Shuaib, the Executive Chairman, Odogbolu Local Government said; ‘I warmly welcome back our pupils, parents, teaching and non – teaching staff to 2021/2022 new academic session’.

It reads further; ‘I am delighted to be joining you today, I know you are as determined as I am and are ready for the work and fun ahead.

We are entering a new era of opportunities and choices. This is an exciting prospect for students who are now preparing to make their way to your doors, some for the first time, others are returning, and are all dreaming of what life might look like. Let’s build them up with a visionary mind while they are younger.

I am enormously proud that we are working together to guarantee that those dreams of our young people are going to be realised and that working together we are truly going to unleash their full potentials as there is no substitute for hard grind of driving up standards.

The domains of learning are utmost, the cognitive, affective, and psychomotive. We will ensure we keep up to standard to achieve results in building our pupils for a promising future through uncompromising quality.

I enjoin our teachers and management to imbibe the culture of continuous improvement by participating in various professional development programmes to enhance their teaching and set new records of excellence for our pupils.

While I’m asking you to do more, I also recognise that there is so much more we need to do on the side of the Government to support you.

Let me also excite you, I take your safety very paramount, as such our administration has gone ahead of today resumption to clear the lawns and fumigate against coronavirus and other allied infections in public primary schools within Odogbolu Local Government Area to make our school environment more friendly, safer and conducive for our pupils and teachers, I am not saying that you should relax all those health measures which are to keep people as safe as possible to minimise the risk of COVID transmission.

As we journey this new academic session together, our administration will try as much as possible to make our schools a place of learning, making friends, and having fun for students and teachers.
