Court Orders FG To Pay Sunday Igboho N20bn(See Why)
Oyo State High court has ordered the Federal Government to pay Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, a.k.a. Sunday Igboho, the sum of N20 billion.
A High Court sitting in Ibadan on Friday ordered the Federal Government of Nigeria to pay the sum of N20billion to Chief Sunday Adeyemo also known as Igboho as damages for the invasion of his residence.

News Rain Nigeria gathered that Justice Ladiran Akintola awarded the sum on Friday while delivering judgment in a N500 billion suit, filed against the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, and the Department of State Services (DSS) for what was described as exemplary and aggravated damage done against the activist.
Igboho through his lawyer, Yomi Alliyu, had filed the suit challenging the invasion of his house in Ibadan on July 1, damage of his property as a violation of his fundamental right to peacefully own property and wealth by operatives of the DSS.
Justice Akintola also awarded N2 million as the cost to the applicant.
