Police have foiled a deadly attack by IPOB/ESN in Imo.
The Police Command in Imo State on Friday successfully repelled a deadly attack by suspected members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)/ Eastern Security Network (ESN), who attacked the Mbieri Police Division.

IPOB is protesting the move to name the second Niger Bridge after Buhari.
The Indigenous People of Biafra are protesting the move to name the second River Niger Bridge after President Muhammadu Buhari.

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has demanded N25 billion compensation from the Nigerian Government.
Nnamdi Kanu urged a Federal High Court sitting in Umuahia, Abia State, to compel the Federal Government to compensate him with N25 billion over his arrest and repatriation from Kenya.

IPOB has announced the date Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will be freed from FG detention.
The Indigenous People of Biafra has said it expects its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, to be set free on or before April 8 when his case comes up in court.
This was disclosed by the Spokesperson of the group, Emma Powerful, in a statement, he issued to the media on Sunday.
Emma Powerful said the Federal Government has no tangible reason not to let Kanu go despite charges before him being amended to keep him in detention.
