Speaking to newsmen at a press conference in Lagos, the Convener of the popular media-socio-governance awards event, Sola Olugbemiro, revealed some of the goodies to be expected at this year’s awards.
He said; “This year, we are lucky as usual because we will be having in our midst an international figure of note, the Mayor of Belmopan, in Belize, a country on the coast of Central America, Her Excellency, Sharon Palacio, who will be delivering the keynote address at the ceremony, while the Governor of Zamfara State, His Excellency, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle will be the Chairman of the event. I can assure you that, it is going to be a highly packed media-society event.”
For those who don’t know, Nigeria Media Nite Out Awards is an annual event where media practitioners who have excelled during the year in review, are usually honoured with befitting awards along with friends of the media in government and the corporate world.
