Details of how popular actress Ada Ameh died in Delta Hospital has emerged.

News Rain Nigeria reports that she died in Warri, Delta State around 11 pm on Sunday, a source who pleaded anonymity said on Monday morning.

The actress was said to have been visiting an oil company magnate and his family in Warri, Delta.

The anonymous source further revealed that Ameh was taken to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s hospital but passed on before they arrived at the facility.

However, no official statement has been released.

Recall that the actress revealed that she has been battling mental issues after losing her only child and daughter, Aladi Godgift Ameh on October 20, 2020.

“Everything is going to be fine. I have an issue right now, and it’s taking my life. I will not die. We will get over it,” Ameh had said.

Ameh, who played the role of Anita in the movie ‘Domitilla’ in 1996, is famous for her comic characters, especially in the series ‘The Johnsons’.

Born on May 15, 1974, in Ajegunle, Lagos State, the popular actress had shared a video of herself eating with the family around 12:53 pm on Sunday on her official Instagram page before death came calling later at night.
