The traditional rulers in their royal attires on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, made the decree with a musical presentation on the altar during the ongoing 70th Annual Convention of the church along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
“We have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back” the traditional rulers pledged, sang on the church altar, and led the cheering congregation along.
During their ministration, Pastor Folu Adeboye, wife of the General Overseer, stood up and joined in the praising and dancing.
After their rendition, Pastor Adeboye remarked thus: “This is a new beginning, your joy has just started, it shall be well with you all”
