Popular Prophet Suspends Payment Of Tithe And Offering In His Church

The general overseer of the Genesis Global Church, Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe popularly known as Genesis, has revealed that all members should hold on with their tithes and offerings pending the resolution of all naira issues in the country.

During his ministration in one of his live-streamed program, Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe informed all members not to give tithes and offering to the Church for now, as a result of the current naira situation in the country.

He revealed that the church is conscious of the current situation of the country, and understands that Nigerians are going through difficulties in the circulation of naira.

The Church is our respective home, and should be a place of conveniences for us, not a place where difficulties should be encouraged in the congregation,” he stated.

However, members were encouraged with the directive of the pastorate of the church and appreciated the shepherd for his good deeds and acts on the current financial situation of the economy.
