Thousands of INEC Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs were discovered dumped in Anambra state, raising concerns over the upcoming election’s integrity.

A hunter recently uncovered a bag filled with thousands of INEC Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in a bush at Akanmiri, Umudim, Nnewi.

The hunter promptly reported the discovery to Authority 91.9 FM Nnewi, a local radio station.

The radio station, after conducting a thorough investigation, discovered that most of the PVC cards belonged to registered voters in Nnewi North local government area.

The radio station staff urged its listeners to visit the station premises to check whether their names were on the cards, warning that the PVC cards could be up to a million.

Despite the gravity of the situation, there has been no official statement from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the police, or any government official.

The lack of response has left many citizens concerned about the integrity of the electoral process in the area.

The discovery of the PVC cards has raised questions about the transparency and accountability of the electoral process in Nigeria.

It has also put a spotlight on the need for more effective security measures in the run-up to the election.
