Despite Labour Party Support, APC’s Emmanuel Bwacha Will Not Win Taraba Governorship Election-Oluwatosin Alex

A faction of the Labour Party in Taraba state has declared support for the candidate of the APC, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha just 24 hours before the governorship election.

This is coming after another faction of the party declared support for the PDP Candidate, Kefas Agbu alongside other political parties like SDP, ADC, and Accord, to mention but a few.

The declaration for Emmanuel Bwacha, according to information cost about N200 million paid by the senator to the faction of the labour party that declared support for him.

Sadly, this will not amount to anything but a waste of resources because there is almost no structure in the labour party faction.

Despite Labour Party Support, APC’s Emmanuel Bwacha Will Not Win Taraba Governorship Election-Oluwatosin Alex

Reports have it that the declaration is just a gimmick of Emmanuel Bwacha to make the news since he has not been getting so much attention since he ‘forced’ his way into the ballot paper.

It is no more news that the APC chapter of Taraba state isn’t supporting Emmanuel Bwacha’s aspiration to govern the state as he has also been suspended from the party for engaging in anti-party activities. The national chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Adamu has also distanced himself from Bwacha following his activities against the party in the state.

The only candidate who has enjoyed the support of the masses both in the political sector and among indigenes of Taraba state is PDP’s Kefas Agbu.

He is the only candidate that campaigned in every local government and town in the state including the rural areas; places where politicians don’t ordinarily go. He is the only person who is assured of victory in the election.

The support given to him by other political parties is as a result of his assured victory and not because he needs people to sell his candidacy.

For Emmanuel Bwacha, the Labour party support is just to make noise that won’t have any impact for him in the election. It still will not change the fact that he will come a distant second in the election.
