JAMB Reschedules UTME in 100 Centres Due to Technical Hitches

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has experienced technical challenges during the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which has led to the rescheduling of the exam in 100 centres.

JAMB Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, issued a statement on Tuesday night in Abuja announcing the rescheduling due to the difficulties faced by candidates during the exam.

The Board has reiterated its commitment to delivering quality assessments and deploying world-class assessments in line with global best practices. The technical team is working tirelessly to ensure that Wednesday’s exercise is devoid of any hitches.

Candidates who were unable to take the examination due to technical reasons are advised to print a new examination notification early Wednesday morning, April 26, 2023, to know their new scheduled sessions.

JAMB has promised Nigerians that no candidate would be denied the right to take the examination, and any candidate affected by any hiccup would be rescheduled to take the examination on the next available date and space. The Board is confident that with its commitment and dedication to conducting successful exams, the UTME exercise will run smoothly, and candidates will be given equal opportunities to perform at their best.
