Amidst alleged scandals rocking Heritage Bank, one of Nigeria’s commercial banks, customers have taken to social media platforms to lament over the bank’s practice of debiting customers’ accounts for transfers without crediting the beneficiaries for days, blaming it on network failure.

In a series of comments that surfaced after the bank made a post via its Facebook page, BrandSpur Nigeria reports that some affected customers alleged that most illegal deductions in banks were being done in connivance with bank staff while others described the act as fraudulent which the authorities must urgently address.
