Update: Naira Marley Gives Conditions To Turn Himself In For Investigation Over MohBad’s Death

Nigerian Musician and Marlian record boss, Naira Marley, has expressed his willingness to turn himself in for questioning regarding the passing of his former signee, Mohbad.

He said he would do so if security agencies could ensure his safety.

Naira Marley, who according to report has been out of the country since August 31, 2023, learned about Mohbad’s demise through social media.

He clarified that Mohbad had left Marlian Music in 2022 and had been pursuing his music independently.

The rapper emphasised that he had no involvement in Mohbad’s passing and expressed shock and sorrow upon hearing the news. He called for a focus on discovering the circumstances of Mohbad’s death.

Naira Marley further asserted that he will return to Nigeria for questioning, provided his safety is guaranteed. He denied affiliation with cults and stated that he has actively distanced himself from such groups.

Recall that an investigation into Mohbad’s death has been launched, with the involvement of the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and the Department of State Services.
