..Set For Arise Football, Golf Tournament
The health preventive event put together by the Convener of Arise Women, Dr Siju Iluyomade to raise awareness on good and why walking regularly must be adopted by all to improve our health status.
Held on Saturday 14th October 2023 in Clusters across many parts of the world including UK, US, Germany, Italy, Kenya.
The 15th edition which is tagged #StepUp usually witnessed several dignitaries, Prominent Nigerians as well as sports legends including former Super Eagles Keeper, Peter Rufai, Austin Eguaveon.
Mutiu Adepoju, Ann Chiejine, Falilat Ogunkoya, Chioma Ajunwa among others.
Joining Dr. Siju’s Clusters in Ikoyi were prominent Nigerians like former First Lady of Cross Rivers Onari Duke, the sports legends where Dance Guinness Book of Record winner, Kaffy led people in some Dance-aerobics before the Cluster then Walk down the Lekki bridge down to Muri-Okunola Park, meeting point.
At Muri-Okunola Park there are different games to lighten up the day, including table tennis, Snooker, Chess, and many more with DJ setting the pace as people had so much drink, eat, and dance in a very effervescent atmosphere.
The Arise Walk For Life is one of the events lined up for Arise Women 2023 activities which will be followed by Arise Football novelty match on Friday 16th October at the Onikan Stadium while Arise Golf Tournament will be held at the prestigious Ikoyi Club the following day.
The final event is Arise Women Conference which will take place at the Trinity Towers Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Saturday, October 28th, 2023.
