Face Your Senate And Allow Us Choose Our Next Governor-Edo Elders Warn Adams Oshiomole

Elders in Edo State have all come out to give warning signals to the Senator representing Edo North District, Adams Oshiomole to concentrate on his duties of representing the people of Edo North at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly rather than intervening in the political affairs of the state.

In a statement issued by the elders, they advised the former Governor to keep off his hands from every activity that has to do with the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state and only focus on his voting and retiring to his house afterwards.

This latest development arose on the heels of the former Labour Union president’s usual act of imposing candidates on Edo people, most especially during gubernatorial electoral processes.

With the widespread rumour of the former Governor allegedly imposing Hon. Dennis Idahosa of the Federal House of Representatives to emerge as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the fast-approaching election in the state.

The current situation in Edo State however, revealed that obviously, elders in the state are grossly opposed to Oshiomole intervening in the democratic process of the state towards the election and they simply urged him to face his multiple duties at the National Assembly and leave the political fate of Edo State alone for critical stakeholders of the state’s affairs.
