Raymond Shutti: Story Of Anti-G*y Law Victim Who Fleed Home For Safety

The bill which was signed into law in 2014, prevents public expression of g*y rights with 14 years imprisonment if caught in the act.

This also brings about the story of one Mr  Raymond Shutti, who is well known due to his public display and participation in g*y-related activities.

According to the information gathered, Raymond and his close friend ( Isaiah Akintola) were attacked a few months ago in 2024, which led to the death of his friend but fortunately for him, he escaped.

This happened because they were suspected of being involved in g*y-related activities and homosexuality, due to this,  he was attacked by aggressive youths, beaten, and brutalized which led to the death of his friend.

Raymond Shutti, who is married with a kid, has been seen by many, who believe, he has been involved in g*ys-related activities due to his lifestyle, even as an adult who is believed to be married with a wife and kid.

He has been involved in many sagas and is a well-recognized member of g*y communities by public comment because of the way he paraded himself to the general public.

Raymond, who is nowhere to be found, whom a member of the public believed was a result of the attack on his life. Which might be the major reason why he fled from home.

Some people believe is out of the country based on an unverified source, due to a threat to his life, after a crisis broke out between them and the youths leaving his friend seriously brutalized and dead.

Shutti’s name has been mentioned among others because of their lifestyle which many believe is in g*y-related activities.

As of the time of this report, he is nowhere to be found after the attack on his life by unknown youths in the community and also rejection by his family members because their religious beliefs are not in support of homosexuality.

Presently he is nowhere to be found to even share his part of the story if allegations against him are true or false.

People believe Shutti has absconded due to threats and rejection by society, which frowns against homosexuality.

He sometimes openly criticized the anti-g*y laws saying   “There Is no justice In Nigeria for same-s*x and the  Nigerian masses are willing to violently attack any gay member, as we know that jungle justice still exists. This is a country where people are killed by  Fulani herders, bandits, kidnappers, and other crimes” He said.

According to an unverified witness, he was last seen in Lagos.
