Zamfara: Thousands Of APC Supporters Welcome Defence Minister Matawalle

Friday the 20th of December 2024, No fewer than 50 thousand Zamfara State APC Supporters warmly welcome the Immediate past governor of the State now the Honourable Minister of Defence His Excellency Dr’ Bello Mohammed Matawalle.

According to report, the Honourable Minister chose to visit Zamfara State during this festive period by road instead of using Airplane to boost the Morales of soldiers stationed almost every 4 kilometers from Funtua Highway to Sokoto who are working day and night to provide Security for the Motorist for the job well done as the kidnapping incidences is gradually becoming a history due to the quick response of the Nigerian security forces.

Also, as the Minister Convoy arrived at Yankara, a border between Zamfara and Katsina State, thousands of young men and women lined up beside the Street Singing different praise songs in Hausa saying ” Muna godiya ga Minister da Shugaban kasa Bola Ahmed Tinubu da halaka Yan’ta adda.

Meaning- “They are grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Matawalle for eliminating notorious bandits kingpins who have given them sleepless nights.

The Honourable Minister had also made several stopovers before reaching the State Capital Gusau to sympathize with the victims of the previous security challenges.

No single harassment from the Security forces was reported, but the governor of the State, Dauda Lawal on receiving the alert of the Minister’s Visit had since left the State.
