Soludo Faces No Opposition In His Re-election – Obi Cubana

As different groups in Anambra State continue to drum up support for Governor Charles Soludo’s re-election, more prominent indigenes of the state have begun to show their solidarity with him, with the latest being Obinna Tochuukwu Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, the chairman of the Cubana Group.

Obi Cubana, a celebrated entrepreneur and philanthropist, indigene of Anambra State, has affirmed that Governor Soludo, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in November 2025, faces no opposition in his re-election bid.

He said the election would be a walkover for him due to his performance in governance and the infrastructural transformation of Anambra State within a short period.

Speaking after a recent visit to a tour of some projects in the state, Obinna, popularly known as Obi Cubana, stated that for the first time in Anambra state, there may not be a contest, as the governorship election will be a landslide victory for Soludo.

Cubana affirmed, “The governor promised us a new Anambra. He is not talking about what has been done, but what has not been done, which means he is hungry to do more for the people of the state.

He is hungry to position Anambra as the pride of Nigeria, in fact, West Africa, and Africa.”

He further stated, “The journey of a thousand miles starts from a step, and he is touching everything.

The one that amazes me is that he is creating a Fun City, and that means he thinks about our kids and families.

Right now, you can take your family to Anambra State because there is a place for the kids to play, with modern facilities, and this is unprecedented.”

The Cubana Group boss, who was overwhelmed with the numerous achievements of the Soludo administration, added, “The new Anambra is possible under Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo.”

This comes after Governor Soludo was unanimously re-elected as the state’s ruling party APGA’s candidate for the November 2025 election.

Over the weekend, the entire political architecture of Anambra State in the 21 Local Government Areas in Anambra State all supported the governor for his second term bid.
