Soludo Commends Ndi Anambra For Giving President Tinubu A Warm Reception

The government of Anambra State has expressed gratitude to the people of the state for the rousing welcome accorded to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was conferred with the chieftaincy title, Dike-Si-Mba Anambra, on his historic visit to Anambra State.

According to the State’s Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, the President’s state visit was executed as planned and yielded exciting results.

Some of the gains include Governor Soludo’s request on developmental issues like federal support concerning erosion threat, reintegration into the national railway system, and Anambra’s connection to the nation’s gas master plan.

The president promised to positively reconsider all the requests and to work on the abandoned federal roads linking Anambra and Kogi to facilitate access and shorten travel time from Anambra State to the South-South and Abuja.

President Tinubu also used the state visit to gauge the mood of the people and commissioned some historic projects executed by Governor Soludo in the past three years.

These included the brand-new Anambra Government House, a Mini-city, the largest in Nigeria after Aso Rock Villa, and Solution Fun City, which consists of a leisure park (water park and amusement park), a family fun house, and a country club amongst others.

Along with unveiling the facility, ‘Our Heroes Past Monument,’ and the Emeka Anyaoku Boulevard, the eight-lane dual highway leading to the new government building, the President also lit the Light of the Nation Tower.
