MarkHack 4.0 Features Nigeria MarTech Awards Night

As part of the landmark MarkHack 4.0 conference, Nigeria’s first-ever MarTech Awards Night took center stage—a prestigious event dedicated to recognizing the trailblazers, innovators, and creators revolutionizing Nigeria’s marketing landscape through the power of technology.

This initiative aims to celebrate excellence in marketing technology and foster a thriving ecosystem where creativity and innovation drive growth and engagement across Nigeria and beyond.

The award ceremony kicked off promptly at 6:00 PM, drawing an esteemed audience of industry leaders, dignitaries, and key stakeholders.

Among the notable guests was the Lagos State Commissioner for Innovation, Science, and Technology, Mr. Olatunbosun Alake.

Setting the tone for the evening, Victor Afolabi, convener of MarkHack and founder of Eko Innovation Centre, delivered a warm welcome address, emphasizing the importance of promoting innovation at the intersection of marketing and technology.

In his keynote remarks, Commissioner Alake commended the organizers for their commitment to advancing Nigeria’s media and marketing landscape through tech-driven solutions and visionary collaboration.

The nominees for each award category were carefully selected based on innovation, impact, and relevance and were made publicly available through the dedicated awards portal, where stakeholders, industry practitioners, and the general public had the opportunity to cast their votes for their favourite game changers.

Voting was conducted transparently through an online platform designed to ensure fairness and ease of access.

Participants could browse detailed profiles of nominated individuals and organizations, view their contributions, and make informed choices.

Ultimately, the entries with the highest overall votes and scores emerged as the award recipients, recognizing those making a substantial impact in Nigeria’s marketing and tech ecosystem.
