A Nigerian man sparked emotional reactions online after a video leaked showing him preparing for his own funeral ahead of his death.

The video, which was published on the popular social media app TikTok, shows the old man pointing to a coffin he had previously purchased.

In the video, a speaker informs him that the coffin appears to be damaged, to which the man responds that he is saving money at the bank to get a new one.

“I’m saving up for a new coffin at the bank,” the man said. “I’ve also made plans for the grave—it was dug even before I got the coffin.”
