Update: Nigerian Man On Bicycle Journey To U.S. Arrives Togo

Nigerian cyclist EmmiWuks, who is on a mission to cycle to the United States on his bicycle, has arrived in Togo.
The cyclist, who is being monitored on his verified social media handles, expressed delight when he arrived at the Togolese border from Grand-Popo, the last town in Benin Republic before Togo, on his 8th day from Lagos, Nigeria, en route to the US on bicycle.
At the Togo border, EmmiWuks, who says that he is riding for the displaced children of Africa, excitedly posted that he was “in the process of crossing into my second international country on this mission.
The welcome already feels like home. One country at a time, one voice for the voiceless.”
According to the 25-year-old cyclist, “Every kilometer reminds us why this mission matters.
We’re not just riding, we’re raising a voice for the displaced, the orphans, and the forgotten across Africa.
Together, we ride with hope. Togo, I come in peace,” he wrote.
