Pernod Ricard Nigeria Calls For Fight Against Production And Sales Of Fake Alcoholic Drinks

Pernod Ricard Nigeria, a Nigerian subsidiary of the Pernod Ricard Group globally, has called on Federal Government, industry players, and law enforcement agencies to help fight against the increasing activities of counterfeit production of alcoholic beverages in the country.
The Managing Director, Mr. Michael Ehindero, made the claim in a speech at the Media Content Immersion Drivers’, recently held by the company at Radisson Blu, Ikeja, Lagos State.
Ehindero, while addressing the audience, said the collaboration with the Government, law enforcement agencies, and others will strengthen actions towards consumer safety and protection of the reputation of the spirits industry.
Ehindero also reaffirmed the company‘s commitment to environmental sustainability and the circular economy.
He elucidated that the company believes in sustainability, intending to minimize its impact on the environment and promote responsible consumption in all its operations.
The Marketing Director of Pernod Ricard, Evane Chenuet, talked on the company’s brands, describing that the company lives on creating and celebrating conviviality, which is utilized as the brand slogan.
She also spoke about how each of the company‘s brands is designed to provide conviviality that creates social relations and moments with their beverages, while encouraging responsible drinking.
