As Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s political campaign gathers momentum, the people and stakeholders of Atani and Okpoko in Ogbaru Local Government Area have come out massively to pledge support for his re-election.

The governor’s visit to Ogbaru served as both an outreach and an engagement platform, allowing him to connect directly with the people and mobilise support for his administration’s ongoing projects.

While addressing the people at Atani, Governor Soludo stressed the importance of community participation in governance. “Community involvement is crucial for the success of any development initiative.

Together, we can enhance our infrastructure, education, and healthcare services in this region,” he said.

At Okpoko, the governor toured the busy streets, stopping at St. Lwanga Church, where he reflected on the security situation before his election.

When I assumed office, the state of insecurity was alarming. But through our collective efforts, we have made significant strides toward restoring peace and stability,” he noted.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sustainable development and inclusive governance. “My administration remains steadfast in prioritising sustainable development and inclusive governance.

Together, we will build a stronger, healthier Anambra,” the governor added.

The events attracted community leaders and support for Soludo’s leadership, as well as commendation from the Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze on the governor’s achievements.

Governor Soludo has transformed this area for the better. His commitment to the people is evident, and we, as community leaders, pledge our unwavering support,” he said.

Chief Emma Obi, among other residents, lauded the administration’s broader impact, saying, “The changes we have witnessed under Governor Soludo’s leadership go beyond infrastructure.

He has brought hope back to our communities, and we stand with him in this journey.”

A major highlight of the event was the presentation of a N50,000,000 (Fifty Million Naira) cheque to Governor Soludo to support his electioneering campaign, a testament to his visionary leadership in transforming Anambra state to a destination and not a departure lounge.
