Breaking: First Bank Debunks Rumours Of Closing Branches In Southeast

First Bank South East branches are fully open for business, the bank has said.

 

News Rain Nigeria reports that First Bank Nigeria PLC has denied report on social media saying that all its branches in the south eastern part of Nigeria have been shut down over insecurity.

 

A statement titled “Public Announcement” issued on Wednesday afternoon, June 2 by First Bank Nigeria called on the general public to “disregard any news making the rounds” that its South East branches have been shut down over insecurity.

 

The statement signed by its Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Folake Ani-Mumuney, reads as thus; “This is to inform the public that our South East branches are fully open for business. Please disregard any news making the rounds that is contrary to this. Thank you.”
