Update: Actors Guild of Nigeria Suspends Popular Actor Who Raped 16-year-old Girl

Nollywood actor and singer, Moses Armstrong has officially been suspended by the Actors Guild of Nigeria for allegedly defiling a 16-year-old girl,

Actress Monalisa Chinda Coker confirmed the development by posting a statement of the suspension.

According to the statement, signed by Emeka Rollas, who is the national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Moses Armstrong has been placed on an indefinite suspension following facts that emanated from the investigation of the case, and that if he goes against the suspension rules, disciplinary measures will be stipulated.

Recall that the national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, confirmed Armstrong’s arrest.

Rollas described the case as “a very serious one”.

He said it is being handled by the First Lady of the state, Martha Udom Emmanuel through her Family Empowerment and Youth Re-Orientation Path Initiative.

The AGN president added that the organisation will not condone such a crime.
