Schools Remain Shut As Lagos Govt Reviews Curfew
The Lagos State Government has reviewed the curfew imposed on the state.
News Rain Nigeria gathered in a statement by the State’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso on Sunday that the curfew in the state has been reviewed and the restriction time is now 8 pm to 6 am.
The statement read: “The curfew in Lagos State has been reviewed. Restriction time is now 8 pm to 6 am.
Lagosians are enjoined to plan their journey times as they go about their lawful businesses.
All Public and Private Schools remain shut till further notice.”
It will be recalled that on Friday, October 23, the Lagos State Government earlier eased the 24-hour curfew which was imposed on Tuesday, October 20.
The curfew was then made to run from 6 pm to 8 am while the movement was allowed between 8 am and 6 pm.
This time around, the curfew will run from 8 pm to 6 am while movement will be allowed between 6 am and 8 pm.
