FFK VS NUJ: Journalists Shun Femi Fani Kayode From Press Conference

Femi Fani Kayode acclaimed working assessment touring train hit another stumbling block today in Ibadan, the Capital City of Oyo State, as they were denied access to press coverage.
According to reports that were gathered by the NewsRain, some selected journalists had earlier received invitations to cover the well-planned press conference which was slated for 11 am today Monday, 31st, August 2020,  but we’re told by the State leadership of the  Nigeria Union of Journalists, to boycott the conference.
The Oyo State Chairman of NUJ Council, Comrade  Ademola Babalola, made the announcement on Fresh 105.9 FM Ibadan this morning, saying no journalist should attend any media parley with the former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani Kayode.
NewsRain gathered that the invitation that was sent to some selected journalists in the State stated thus:  “You are specially invited to a media parley with Femi Fani Kayode(FFK)
Venue-Chalton Gate Hotel, Ibadan.
Time -11am
Note: strictly by  invitation.”
NewsRain also gathered that the current situation in Ibadan comes on the heel of the recent FFK’s violent and insulting outburst against Daily Trust’s Charles Eyo at a similar media parley in Calabar, Cross River State.
Recall that Femi Fani Kayode has also faced a similar scenario in Akwa Ibom State, where journalists in Akwa Ibom State had shunned his planned press conference in solidarity with their colleagues in Cross River State.
